Welcome to the Caramel Apples Wiki!
We, Ranea Schulze, Kim Greer, Lois Pendrak, and Amy Hertzberg, are the old apples from NHS and the new apples from NMS.
Caramel apples were invented by Dan Walker, a sales repesentative for Kraft Foods, in the 1950s. Caramel apples are coated with sticky gooey caramel, which is a good base for peanuts, M&Ms, coconut, chocolate chips or anything else your heart desires! Most people reach for the large Red Delicious apples for candy or caramel apples but the slightly tart, crisp McIntoshes or Granny Smiths play perfectly against the sweet coating.
